Post Secret is an online community art project in the form of a blog where people anonymously send in their secrets on postcards. Its creator, Frank Warren, will be coming to Mizzou to speak on November 6, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Jesse Hall. Warren created the Post Secret blog in 2005. He started the movement by handing out blank postcards in Metro stations. After putting them in his art exhibit, he created the blog and posted new secrets every Sunday. Warren has won several blog awards and has published three books containing secrets.
Warren will be speaking about the range of secrets he has received, as well as ones that have been banned from the books and his own personal secrets. Warren has volunteered and donated book profits to hopeline.com, a suicide help organization. Secrets can be sent on any mailable material that is 4x6in. The address is
