Diversity is a favorite buzzword of the press, politicians and pundits, and diversity at MU has been widely discussed by administration and students.
Aaron Thompson, a sociology professor at Eastern Kentucky University, will speak at MU on Monday about creating a more inclusive campus. The discussion is at 1 p.m. on Monday in MU’s Jesse Wrench Auditorium in Memorial Union.
Thompson has widely been considered an authority on the topic of diversity, and has been a diversity trainer for the Columbia Police Department since 1996.
